Driver Strike at Guatemala/El Salvador Border

Please be advised that truck drivers are currently on strike at the Guatemala/El Salvador border crossing in Ermita, GT. The strike is preventing both import and export cargo from crossing either side of the border. We have been advised by local authorities that the  drivers have requested an urgent meeting with the Guatemala Customs Authorities (Superitendencia de Administracion Tributaria) with the purpose of resolving their demands.
