Dear Valued Customer,
Crowley recently announced the implementation the Nassau Port Charge due to increased operating costs at the Arawak Cay terminal. The increased costs are associated with the new Arawak Port Development LTD (APD) port tariff. The Nassau Port Charge will take effect March 4, 2012.
As mentioned in our previous announcement, the new Arawak Port Development LTD (APD) port tariff is being implemented by APD in two phases. The second phase is scheduled to be implemented April 1, 2012. Due to the increased operating costs associated with Phase 2 implementation of the new tariff, Crowley Caribbean Services announces the following increases to the Nassau Port Charge which will be effective April 1, 2012:

Late Gate Fee / Nassau Port
Gate Labor/Overtime $350/hour – outside of normal operating hours
Gate Labor/Overtime $550/hour – public holidays & Sundays
Port Storage Charges / Nassau Port
Storage after 5 free days : Loaded – dry eqpt $20 per day Loaded , Refrigerated eqpt $50 per day
Storage after 10 days – Loaded, dry eqpt $30 per day Loaded, Refrigerated eqpt $100 per day
Stripping Charges / Nassau Port
Palletized cargo: 20’eqpt $600 40’eqpt $725 exc 40’ $750
Non-palletized cargo: 20’eqpt $700 40’eqpt $825 exc 40’ $850
Vehicles – $50
