Case Study – Feedering Solution

Project Overview

South Fork Wind is America’s first commercial scale offshore wind farm for the state of New York. Delivering thirty-six 318-foot blades, twelve monopiles, a substation, and twelve nacelles from New London State Pier in Connecticut to the Deepwater Wind Farm, approximately 60 miles away. In the 18 months leading up to execution, we meticulously managed the project, providing alignment on approach, schedule and proactive identification of potential issues. Our asset ownership ensured long standing experience with vessel operations and a confident crew to operate the vessel. Collaborating closely with regulatory bodies, the team initiated early engagement with the US Coast Guard, maintaining regular meetings to provide updates throughout the process. This allowed for a seamless coordination of efforts and facilitated proactive adjustments to meet regulatory requirements effectively.
