Crowley Announces New Logistics Agent in Managua, Nicaragua

(JACKSONVILLE, FL; July 26, 2005) Crowley announced today that effective August 1, Global Logistics Company (GLC) of Managua, Nicaragua will represent Crowley as its local logistics agent. The company will provide Crowleys logistics customers with a single point of access to freight forwarding, customs brokerage, air and ocean freight shipments, warehousing and domestic trucking within Nicaragua.

Initially, the 12-year old company will employ five professionals for servicing Crowley customers. GLC was formed as a subsidiary to an existing Ocean Carrier Agency.

With the appointment of GLC as our Nicaraguan agents, we hope to better serve our growing number of customers by providing them with access to one stop shopping, said Miguel Artiga, Crowleys vice president of sales and marketing.
