Hurricane Dorian – Update 13
Safety has remained our focus throughout the events of Hurricane Dorian, and will continue as such, while the storm moves northward.
Jacksonville Terminal, Gate and Warehouse Operations:
We have resumed normal operations, at all of our Jacksonville facilities including the terminals, warehouses and administrative offices. To make up for days lost as a function of the storm and help you to regain velocity in your supply chain, we are holding extended gate hours at our Jaxport terminal (3001 Talleyrand Ave) today until 2400. That location will reopen, with againextended gate hours, tomorrow, Friday, Sept. 6 from 0600 until 1700. Our Talleyrand terminal (1163 Talleyrand Ave) is open until 1700 today, and from 0800 to 1700 tomorrow, Friday, Sept. 6.
The vessels which were being held safely at sea, have begun entering port in Jacksonville for cargo operations. M/V El Coqui (SAL9071S) is scheduled for an on-time arrival, discharge, reload, and sailing to San Juan on Friday, Sept 6. Additionally, El Conquistador (SAL9936S) will depart for San Juan shortly after the M/V El Coqui, giving us two departures for Puerto Rico this week.
North Atlantic Operations:
The NAL 455-3 (NAL9034N), which was delayed by the storm on its voyage to Penn Terminals, is scheduled for an arrival, discharge, reload, and departure for San Juan on Sunday, Sept. 8. The Marty J (NAL9035N) is on schedule to depart from San Juan today, for an on-time arrival at Penn Terminals on Thursday, Sept. 12.
Wilmington Operations:
As a function of the storm, the Port of Wilmington remains closed today, Sept. 5 and Friday, Sept 6., to all vessels and personnel. We are working closely with local authorities to determine the viability of safely resuming operations later this week.
