Terminal Escort Fee and Seal Fee at Port Everglades and Jacksonville – Updated!

We want to clarify a recent update we shared concerning Seal Fees.

We aim to decrease the number of non-compliant seals on containers showing up in our terminals, which we then must replace. If you are shipping internationally, you must affix a compliant high security seal on your containers that meets the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) requirements. Please refer to this link from the U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) to better visualize what a high security seal looks like: Bulletin.

As of January 1, 2023, we will charge shippers who don’t meet the ISO standard for proper seals $25 per container for us to remove non-compliant seals and replace them with compliant ones. These fees will be added to the Bill of Lading.
