Navigating the Ebola Crisis
During the peak of the Ebola crisis in West Africa, Crowley was called into action, supplying on-site logistics support and shipping services in support of the U.S. military’s Operation United Assistance in Liberia. Crowley offered the U.S. Government’s Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) a West Africa network solution with end to end, on the ground and over the sea, logistics support for aid and supplies. The response was immediate, secure and well-managed from start to finish.
Haiti Earthquake Relief
In the aftermath of the massive Haitian earthquake in January 2010, clearing debris out of the devastated Port-au-Prince Harbor was just the beginning. There were still millions of people living without food, water or shelter. The need for relief supplies wasn’t something that could be measured in days — each hour the situation was becoming more desperate. We instantly recognized the vital role we could play here and what needed to be done to help alleviate the suffering.
FEMA Hurricane Response
U.S. federal authorities called Hurricane Maria the most logistically challenging relief effort the United States had ever managed, and FEMA immediately turned to Crowley to help.
