Hurricane Dorian – Update 8
UPDATE 8 – 08/30/2019 – 1500hrs
Safety remains our primary focus. We are working with the U.S. Coast Guard and other industry leaders in advance of Hurricane Dorian, to ensure all personnel, vessels, and your cargo, remain out of harm’s way.
All Crowley locations are conducting normal operations and vessels are on schedule as indicated below:
- El Coquí (SAL9069S) departing Jacksonville for San Juan at 1800 today in advance of normal sailing time
- Fiorella (SZV9035S) departing Port Everglades for Costa Rica and Panama at 2000 today, ontime
- Tucana J (NZV9104S) departing Port Everglades for Honduras and Guatemala (inland service to El Salvador and Nicaragua) at 1200 on Saturday, ontime
We will continue to coordinate with our vessels to keep them clear of the storm’s path and with our shoreside personnel to make appropriate preparations at our facilities in order to protect people, equipment and cargo.
As the storm track continues to move towards the eastern coast of Florida, we will provide appropriate updates on its impact, if any, on your supply chain.
